Ebola Grand Challenge Innovator Support

Role: Project Manager
Challenge: Fourteen promising Ebola innovations lacked design expertise and market knowledge to deploy in West Africa's complex emergency ecosystem.
Approach: Led tailored design and go-to-market strategic support for seven innovators across five months in seven countries, including user testing, product iteration, systems mapping, and market strategy development. Created a procurement plan to navigate the crisis response market's complex stakeholder landscape.
Outcome: Advanced multiple innovations to market—including mHero's Ministry of Health adoption in Liberia, redesigned PPE tested with West African healthcare workers, and go-to-market strategies for medical devices—while creating reusable frameworks for crisis procurement.
